These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Traction application (the "App") operated by TPFE Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Traction is a drag racing performance tracking application that allows users to log run data, weather conditions, equipment configurations, and related information. The App includes features such as weather forecasting, time slip OCR scanning, data comparison, and team collaboration.
To use the App, you must create an account using a valid email address or sign in with Google. During the beta period, a valid invite code is required for new accounts. You agree to:

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App, including run data, weather logs, and equipment records. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Your performance data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before being stored on our servers. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data using the export feature provided.
The App allows crew chiefs to invite team members to access shared data. As a crew chief, you are responsible for managing team member permissions and understand that invited members may access data according to the permissions you grant. You may revoke access at any time.
The App may offer different subscription tiers with varying features and limitations. Feature availability, including the number of vehicle profiles and access to premium weather data, may vary by tier. We reserve the right to modify tier features and pricing with reasonable notice.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is the intellectual property of TPFE Solutions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. The App relies on third-party services (weather APIs, authentication providers, cloud database) that are outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TPFE Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from reliance on weather data or performance calculations provided by the App.
Weather data, density altitude calculations, and other computed values are provided for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for racing decisions. Always exercise independent judgment and follow applicable safety guidelines.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may export your data before account deletion.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
